Hey I'm Rachel. I live in the rainy state Washington. But I love the rain so it's all good.
I have amazing friends and I love them dearly. I am a very random person. I can be kinda weird at times, well most of the time, but it is a good kinda weird. I am normally shy at first, but once I get to know you then it is impossible to get me to shut up.
I am a very trustworthy person and will listen if someone needs a friend to talk to. I don't judge people for who they are. I'm not God so it's not my job to judge somebody.
I'm very friendly and love to hang out with friends. My friends are like my family. If you hurt my friends you will get hell from me. I am a nice person but I can be a bitch if I need to.
I can be hurt easily and I will forgive but never forget.
There is a saying that goes "music is life" and for me that is true. And I love to laugh, a lot. I love talking to and meeting new people. Add me on msn. I don't bite. :)
Current Residence: Washington (The state, not DC.... I have not clue why so many people think of DC before they think of the state...)
Favorite genre of music: Alternative and Rock, etc. (But I'll listen to almost anything)

Wow, I can't believe it is already 2013. It feels like time if flying by. A lot happened this year. I got my Associate of Arts from college!!! :w00t:
I was able to go on two big trips. The first was to New York City and the second was to South America (more specifically being Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina).
A friend of mine won passes to see Ed Sheeran at the Hard Rock Cafe. That was pretty cool too.
As I stated in an earlier journal I was able to finally find a job. It's going great and I love it! :D
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. Got to see family that I haven't seen in a while which was very nice. Good l

So I got a job about two weeks ago!!! I am doing a bunch of office work and filing, but I love it. Plus my managers as so awesome!
So some fun and exciting news is that I am going to New York City in four days!!!! So happy!
I'm catching up on a Creative Writing class that I took this quarter and it has put me into a more poetic and artist mood. It kind of feels like I got back some of the passion for writing and taking pictures that I sadly seemed to have lost. I will try to post some more poems. I know I have some (a lot actually) just lying around.
So I have to ask this. Who got pinched on St. Patricks Day???? I totally forgot to wear

Drawers Needed!!! (For a tattoo)

So I am thinking about getting a tattoo for my grandparents and my parents. Since my drawing skills are below par I though I would ask the amazing drawers of DA.
The tattoo would be a Nikon camera (like the Nikon D40) surrounded by pansies. There would be an old film banner underneath the camera and a hummingbird would be drinking out of one of the pansies (I don't think hummingbirds can drink out of pansies, but a saw a tattoo like that and it looked really neat).
On the other side of the tattoo the artist has two choices (your pick):
1.) Bowling pins.
Yes I know none of these images have anything in common.
2.) Bowling pins and a fis
